Preparing for another Winter in The Midwest
It's coming. The snow. The wind. The Cold! Winter will be here before you know it so now is a good time to take a few minutes to make a list of the things you do around your home, before the cold weather sets in.
1. Shut the windows. How many times have you checked a basement window and found out that it was open, just a crack. And you found out in February. Take a few minutes and shut down your home.
2. Furnace Filter. Have you changed it recently. Since last March? Now is a good time to change it out. And put a teaser reminder in your phone for about 4 to 6 weeks to change it again.
Those are just a few reminders. How about you? What Fall chores do you have to make sure you have a more enjoyable winter? We'd love to hear from you in the comments or your can email me. jdcollins@kikn.com
