Comedian and podcaster Theo Von is bringing his Return of the Rat tour to Sioux Falls in 2024.

The show is Thursday, October 10 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski III was born in Covington, Louisiana in 1980.

He got his start in show business at 19 when he was cast on MTV's Road Rules: Maximum Velocity Tour in 2000. He later appeared in four seasons of the network's reality game show The Challenge.

In 2006, he competed in Season Four of Last Comic Standing, where he won the Fan Favorite online vote.

Two years later, Theo appeared on the Comedy Central sketch/competition show Reality Bites Back. He won the show, beating fellow comedians, including Amy Schumer, Bert Kreischer, and Tiffany Haddish.

In 2011, he took over as host of the Yahoo! online TV recap show Primetime in No Time and hosted the TBS hidden camera show Deal With It.

Theo is credited for popularizing 'crank texting' (sending a text message to random phone numbers to incite conversations).

In 2011, he also began podcasting, first with The Comedy Sideshow and later Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss (2015), This Past Weekend (2016), and King and The Sting (2018).

Theo has two Netflix comedy specials to his name, No Offense (2016) and Regular People (2021), as well as one comedy album, 30lb Bag of Hamster Bones (2017).

Tickets for the Sioux Falls show go on sale to the general public, Thursday (July 11) at 10:00 AM.

There is a venue presale, Wednesday (July 10) at 10:00 AM. Use the code word RATKING.
