We're still very much in the doldrums of the NFL offseason, but not for long!

We've got the Hall of Fame game coming up later this month from Canton, and a lot of Hall of Famers were highlighted in a recent write up at ESPN.com.

Ben Solak was tasked with choosing the best players ever selected at each and every NFL Draft slot, from #1 to #262.

It was an audacious idea, and he hit it out of the park. Solak highlighted the best players to ever have been selected at any spot during the draft, and a lot of Minnesota Vikings made the cut.

Here's a look at the Top 5:

1) Peyton Manning - 1998 - Indianapolis Colts

2) Lawrence Taylor - 1981 - New York Giants

3) Barry Sanders - 1989 - Detroit Lions

4) Walter Payton - 1975 - Chicago Bears

5) Deion Sanders - 1989 - Atlanta Falcons

The Vikings have rarely picked in the Top 5 of the NFL Draft and haven't done so since back in 2012 when they took Matt Kalil at #4.

Minnesota was represented very nicely throughout the list though, as they had a total of 12 picks and players represented. Here's a look at who made the cut:
